| Having established Careers By Design in the late 1990s, Sue has returned to working with us in December 2009 after a five year period in executive roles in organisations, including a year as General Manager Business Development and Consulting Services at the Centre for Adult Education, and prior to that three years as General Manager Organisational Development at Wodonga TAFE. Focussing on driving positive change through people and systems to increase organisational performance and health, Sue was a member of the executive team when Wodonga TAFE won the award of Victorian Large Training Provider of the Year in 2008.
Sue believes that the work of Careers By Design to enable satisfying workplace experiences and career decisions for individuals is more important than ever. She is also strongly committed to facilitating and achieving this goal from the employer perspective. With this in mind Sue will establish a new product suite in 2010 known as "HRM By Design", a complete range of HR products and services to help employers create the best possible workplace and be an employer of choice. Sue enjoys working with individuals providing career, workplace, leadership and executive coaching, and working with groups to improve team and business performance. Having worked in line management roles at all levels and regularly having re-entered organisational life, Sue is in a strong position to provide coaching and support in making individuals at all levels more effective in their daily work and responsibilities. With a career history drawn from manufacturing, education, employer organisations, NFPs and the public sector, and with a special interest in the challenges faced by small and medium enterprises, Sue is available to work with individuals and organisations in Melbourne and in the North East of Victoria. Sue holds the qualifications of Master of Education; Master of Applied Science (Organisation Dynamics), Grad Dip (Career Education and Development), Grad Cert (Career Counselling) and Bachelor of Business (HR/IR), and is accredited for MBTI and DiSC facilitation. Sue is also a Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia and a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. |
